Sustainability – Cruelty Free Initiatives

We believe in Non-Violence, and are against cruelty of all kinds. Therefore, we have designed our products by following this philosophy.

Straps: The straps used in our watches are not obtained from animal hide and are completely cruelty-free. 

Material- The straps we use are made up of PU leather. PU leather, or polyurethane leather, is an artificial leather made of thermoplastic polymer. PU leather in its original/real form is 100% vegan since it is a basically a blend of different artificial chemicals and not made from animal hide. It is an ultra durable, flexible and long lasting polymer. 

Ethically and Sustainability wise PU leather is much better than animal leather. The production takes up relatively less resources and is therefore more eco friendly. However, plant based leather alternatives are even better than PU leather as they are natural and easily composable. Soon we’ll be adding plant based leather straps to our watches (to follow our belief of non-violence and harmony with nature).

Packaging- The cardboard we use to pack our watches in are made after recycling.

Transparency- We also use plastic to some extent. However, we are constantly considering other alternatives to reduce our plastic usage.

Transportation and Logistics- We receive our products by air and we ship our products through land and air transportation. This generates carbon footprint and we will actively pursue all means to neutralize our carbon footprint and be carbon positive.
